I find the hysteria behind the criticism of Project 2025 to be fascinating … and telling.

Ironically, it is likely that but for the raising of its contents by the Left, nobody outside of conservative circles would have even been aware of it.

And then the attempt to attribute it to Trump is farcical. Trump had nothing to do with it, didn’t endorse it, and frankly is not an ideological conservative anyway.

Project 2025 is essentially mainstream conservatism, not a boogeyman, and like any other policy positions, it deserves its place in an open public forum where it can be reasonably and fairly debated.

Louder for the people in the back! It's far more in alignment with federalism and republican government than our present situation. And, once explained, most people would actually agree with it. That the left has recast it as a consolidation of executive power is as baseless and idiotic as most of what they say. It's actually a massive slashing of "unconstitutional executive power" by taking on the regulatory/administrative state and bringing it back under Presidential authority, pursuant to the Constitution. I'm deeply disturbed by all of it, as you know!
